Imperial Pocket Knives

Found out bottom knife is nick named Mystery knife Imperial Providence , RI found it 50 years ago walking home from school. Thought it was stuck or busted at first then figured out the slip lock
Bought the Imperial little trapper $8 today at a pawn shop , will make a great little knife for work.

Imperial Knife Co got its start just prior to WWI in Providence Rhode Island. Just prior to WWII, they acquired Schrade. In the 1985 they became Imperial Scrade, and closed doors in 2004 and moved to China.

When old Schrade went out in 04 I bought 2 each of all my favorites. Still have bunch put up.

Also a big military contractor. Lots of bayonets and, the pocket knife. Good, old American knife company. Until they weren’t.
