I'm looking to buy blank firing weapons for a collection i want to start (i don't have my permit yet, but I'm going to study in ballistics next year). The problem is that every website i find where i can order them, they don't want to send them outside the US. I live in Quebec, and I was wondering if there's a way to order them from the US, or if there's a shop like that in canada (so far I've had no luck on that).

Any help would be greatly appreciated

thats the thing. for the moment i don't care about ammunition. I will eventually purchase real firearms after i've done my studies, start a real collection (yeah im a collector lol). but for now, it's only blank firing guns that interests me. any ideas where i could get some in canada?

A problem with blank guns or even NON-guns in Canada is that if they resemble a GENUINE firearm "with near precision", then they're considered "replicas", and are deemed to be "prohibited devices". This means that the only blank guns you'll likely to be able to find in Canada are the track and field style (which are themselves simply RGs fitted with solid barrels), and anything else will be considered "prohibited". The next time you see a Liberal, kick him in the nuts, HARD.

I'll be sure to kick him reaaaaal hard, don't worry.... =_=
so there isn't even a place in canada where i could get some? i mean, even if you need a licence for it, we still have guns, so why not blanks. or replicas at least. there has to be somewhere?

Because the LIEberals that wrote these laws weren't operating under any sort of sense; their position was that, if you allow these things that LOOK like real firearms, then they will be used in robberies, etc., so they prohibited them outright. That's why airsoft guns are technically illegal in Canada.
