A question.

I was reading the MD AR15 site concerning the IBZ by LTC Santose. In step three, you are supposed to loosen the screw in the sight wheel with an allen wrench. For the life of me, I can not see what that allen wrench is supposed to be grabbing a hold of to loosen. I've tried, but there seems to be nothing in there to loosen.

This is for a standard Bushmaster A3 detachable handle sights.

The best thing I can tell you is to get a source of light directly over your drum so that you can see what you are supposed to. There is only one allen wrench nut in the wheel, and it IS there, and it takes a tiny wrench, and it probably has some loctite on it, too.
Once you have your wheel set, put some loctite back on it, I like the blue one.

A 1/16 hex key fits the hex head bolt in the hole. You may have to wiggle and twist the hex key til you find the fit. It may be kinda tight, but it will loosen ok. I've not yet used loctite on mine after adjustment, and they seem to stay snug. Use a good quality hex key.

My chopped carry handle started out as a Bushy M3, and the teeny tiny little allen screw IS there, I promise. My problem has been that, in my entire collection of "freebee" allen wrenches, not a single one of them fits the hole

If you turn the wheel up to around 5 or 6, you can actually see the screw on the right side of the CH. More light gets to it, and it's much easier to see there, just for reference. Take john l's advice... use a light.
