IMR 4166 and 168gr Amax 308 LC brass range day results, I loaded up 4 rounds of each using 168gr amax and IMR 4166 rifle savage 10 308 fcp 24in barrel distance 100 yards, think I am going to load up some more at 41gr adjust scope to this load and test at 100/200/300 yards and see how it goes, what do you guys think stick with the 41 and test some more or try more load development ?
seems like the others tested in this work up the 41gr was by far the best but I do not shoot a lot of rifle especially small groups with a scope its a learning experience

It's been my experience that 4166 runs beautifully at midweight charges, so yes, I think 41 gr is where I'd stay, looks GOOD!

I'd run some more rounds through at 41 gr. You aren't showing a lot of data points, really good groups like the 41 gr load produced can be elusive. But, it is a good place to start.

+1 on the mid-weight charges. In my experience with 223&243 with 4166 middle of the road showed best results with many different bullet weights.

Yep, I also like the 41gr group. I have yet to get a group nearly that good yet for my 270 Win w/ Weatherby Vanguard using IMR 4064
You should try H4831 or H4831sc.
My 270 loves it

As far as the OP yeah looks like 41gr was the winner that day. Try it some more

Repeat that test three times in a row and see what it looks like. One group of each means very little. Keep shooting that test and see if there is a pattern with one charge weight. In other words, does 41.0 Grs look the best every time, or the best four out of five.
