I was in SF the middle of April. My daughter wanted to meet friends there during
Spring break.
California has more beauty and varied locations than anywhere else I've seen in
the U.S. That makes the "other world" thinking of its legislators even more frustrating.
Stayed near Union Square, "people watched" on Powell and Market, had Pho at a
Vietnamese restaurant, walked to Pier 39, ate sea food, took a cable car ride.
Generally, "hung out", feeling the city's flow.
My CCW permit is good throughout the state, so, of course, I carried.
My daughter knows how I feel about the city's politics. But, since I agreed to go,
decided to enjoy it.
