i think stuff like this is why i live in Berkeley rather than SF. we might have a bunch of moisy idiots here, but there are just enough sensible folks for me not to go nuts.

yeah i guess they forget about the nat'l guard.

not to mention- SF assumes the rest of the US will be so tough and brutal, the rest of the world would never ever ever attack the US, so we here will never need the military.

SF = NIMBY at its finest (Berkeley makes a great run at it though, we got worse weapons laws than even SF, a stupid extrsa knife law)

Don't get me wrong, I am glad I finally left...but...
because of all the predjudice SF has a real close knit shooting community, a very active NRA members council and 2 great progun conservative talk radio stations.
Here in Reno there isn't even an indoor range and little to no organized resistance to the liberal agenda....

Yes, heaven forbid the Navy provides an opportunity to disadvantaged minority youths. Its much better to turn to crime and welfare than to actually make something of oneself. When did desegregation become discrimonatory? it wasnt that long ago when minorities were struggling to get a decent place in the military.
