In the beginning... saving.

I don't worry about the cost now..... 26 years ago I smashed the bottle against the wall, now I've got the monies to buy the powder and boolits when the need/urge arises! I reload and shoot because I love the total process, when the powder runs out, or the last boolit is crimped, off to the store to get more. I knew this process was going to be costly from the start, I've saved so much over the years, I've bought more guns that a man ought to have, did I say blessed?! I don't really look at it as an expense, sure the wife buys what she wants when she wants it too, a new purse, heels, sweater...... powder boolits, Beretta 1935 .32 auto.... it all works out, and as mentioned a bit ago, I saved by starting to reload all of my empties. LOL:rolleyes:

I'd just keep reloading, and SAVING money, till you run clear out of money for reloading!

Reminds me of a story:

A farmer won the lottery, pocketing a cool million as his largesse. When asked by the press what he intended to do with the money, he replied, "I reckon I'll just farm 'til it's gone."

I'm not an addict.I can stop any time I want to.I just don't want to.Now if you will excuse me,I'm going back to the basement to load some ammo.

I confess to a reloading addiction. First thing I do each time I go to the range is check out both the handgun range and the rifle range for brass.
It is a sickness.

Each piece I find I imagine can "save me money" most often it costs me more because once having found the brass I must of course reload it.
I have found a cure for "gotta use this brass"-itis: empty kitty litter bucket!

You see, I tell myself, "This here American Eagle .223 brass is too soft to reload and shoot in the AR, and it has crimped primers. So I'll just save it and cash it in by weight later and buy some good brass..." ;) The bucket also collects split cases, crushed cases, .357 Sigs (local PD), .40 S&W, surplus '06 cases, spent .22s, etc, etc.

But I am not an addict, I can quit any time I want! (I just don't want to quit, I'm having fun...)
