don’t forgot Leather & Wood! The funny thing is, I'm not 100% opposed to a modernization of the platform. I don't want to own one but it'd be interesting. It's the way they went about it. As if the goal was to make it impractical and stupid looking. With some ingenuity and real gunsmithing, they could've cut it for moon clips, mounted a red dot and some other attachments. Might still look stupid but at least it could be functional.
Never mind, it's just dumb no matter how you look at it.
Now THAT makes sense, actually. The only quiet, suppress-able revolver. Can and ammo included. Love it.I'll see your Schofield and raise you a tactigant.

I believe that this is an Airsoft replica so no innocent artifacts were harmed but, I kinda find the concept intriguing.
I really do think it's an interesting idea (what would have happened if certain things were designed/developed today?) but I hope you're joking and wouldn't alter a genuine piece of history.
Look at some 1911 designs? Redesigns?I really do think it's an interesting idea (what would have happened if certain things were designed/developed today?) but I hope you're joking and wouldn't alter a genuine piece of history.
That being said, If a suitable reproduction were available (much like the Uberti example in the OP) I'd love to see what could be done to a 100+ year old design!
I was JUST KIDDING! I love that airsoft Luger tho! Modernity at its bestI really do think it's an interesting idea (what would have happened if certain things were designed/developed today?) but I hope you're joking and wouldn't alter a genuine piece of history.
That being said, If a suitable reproduction were available (much like the Uberti example in the OP *edit* or your interpretation of what you imagined a "modern" lever action rifle should be) I'd love to see what could be done to a 100+ year old design!
I agree and whoever did the Luger definitely brought it into the modern realm with some legitimate and innovative ideas.I was JUST KIDDING! I love that airsoft Luger tho! Modernity at its best
They Should bring back the toggle action! Hopefully the days of “Go Fast As Possible” are fading and more interesting and artful designs come out!I agree and whoever did the Luger definitely brought it into the modern realm with some legitimate and innovative ideas.
While I personally find the revolver in the OP awful, IMO, the concepts are "do-able" and my sense of curiosity encourages it.
