In Wisconsin the hunter became the hunted!

Here is a photo of a cougar killed in Pelican Lk. Wi.
The guy who shot it is 6 foot tall and weighs about 220 lbs.
He was in a deer stand near Consolidated Rd. and County
Hwy. B. He saw it pass him upwind and then down wind. When
the cat passed him again he knew that it was hunting him, so -
boom. After viewing this, do you still feel safe in the woods?

doormatt65, Very interesting. I do not however believe anything I read on CNNSnopes. I just received this in e-mail form, could be a stretch, but when home this past weekend I did catch a glimpse of a news report(local chnl in MN) about a cat like this one. I also recall one jumping out of a hayloft over the top of my head about 24 years ago while in IN....So they DO exist and in many places the DNR will not admit, as when I reported the one 24 years ago, they laughed and said "they don't exist in IN". Funny thing, about 5 years ago joggers in Indianapolis started getting eaten by these non-existent cats!

I suspect snopes has a higher rate of veracity than most email.
