Places like this sell loaded incendiary ammo but don't reveal their sources. So who is manufacturing incendiary bullets and where can a reloader buy them?

Wow! What a deal!
Those guys have all kinds of exciting stuff.

I especially like that 1,200 FPS .25 ACP ammo!!!!

And the 4 bucks a pop 12 ga Whistle ammo!

Yep!
I'm so excited I almost crapped my pants. :what:

IMO: These are fireworks loaded in firearms ammo. They are in no way comparable to real military incendary bullets.

If I’m ever stocking up to fight zombies I know were to get ammo… Other than that I can’t think of much use for any of that stuff.

I don’t now were to get incendiary bullets, the closest I think I can come up with is a sling shot and a zippo lighter (most likely just as effective).

I was just thinking where might one find thermite strips to defeat heavy doors.

Or simply drive up with a CAT 936 and chip off a corner for entry. LOL.

Moral of story.. never make Heavy Equip Operator mad-mad.

And finally those highway flares do well indeed. But I prefer Maritime models best.

back when I built my 50 bmg I picked up ball, AP, API, and APIT from http://www.tnwfirearms.com/

The incendiary is really more for Igniting things you shoot (like setting off a fuel tank) you only see a flash upon impact. If you want to watch the bullet go down range you want tracer. FWIW the APIT stands for armor piercing incendiary tracer.

There was a vendor on Gunbroker a while ago that had .308 and .312 API bullets and some 303 british loaded API blue tip rounds rather pricey though, the 303 ammo was $4 each round and corrosive. Never tried to see if it was there again though.

I heard somewhere that some small caliber incendiary bullets were made by drilling a cavity in the tips of regular bullets, cutting 50 caliber bmg incendiary bullets apart for the incendiary compound, then placing smaller amounts of the mix in the small caliber bullets. They then would have to seal the tips.
I don't know if this is fact or not, just something I heard.

I rember now. I found API in .30 cal at Big Sky Surplus. It shows in stock at$1.60 ea. What one would need it for? I guess if it is out there someone will buy it. Just like the Twinkie with Elvis on it or whatever.
