I know about the Ruger 44 Mag bolt action. But I was wondering if there are any other rifles out there that meet indianas rules and regs for deer hunting.

The rules are as follows
Rifles must fire a cartridge with a bullet of .357-inch diameter or larger; have a minimum case length of 1.16 inches; and have a maximum case length of 1.625 inches.

Some types of handgun cartridges legal for deer hunting include:
.357 Magnum
.41 Magnum
.44 Magnum
.44 Special
.45 Colt
.45 Long Colt
.45 Winchester Magnum
.35 Remington
.357 Herrett.

I think the last two are actually a mistake but who am I to argue with the state?

ya I know, I was just looking at the cartridge measurements. But I cut and pasted it right from the state regulation book online, they must be confused.

Maybe its a loophole!!!

1. 35 Remington
2. 44 mag
3. 357 mag

Those would be my choices, in that order. Maybe throw in .45 Colt if you handload.
