It's a nice Starbucks with tight parking. The city finally decided that it's abandonment of that area was in error...at least for the part of 38th leading from 65 to the fairgrounds so the area currently looks very nice. I've not been bothered nor even spoken to impolitely. I have more problems with the politicians and a small number of police than I do with the ghetto.
While it may be worth it to drive to Broadpimple while wearing my infidel shirt and vendor badge just to see someone choke on their coffee that would be low road.
I'm in, but Starbucks isn't my bag... and it sound like we may need more room anyway...
Danville might be to far to go, but I know somebody who knows somebody... actually I'm the current president of the Danville Conservation Club, and if the calendar is clear we might be able to use the clubhouse.
I'll be setting up Friday, of course. Look for the fan-shaped rack of swords and my book cover blowups. I'll have my new book, too, which ticked off some lefties so much I got threats of lawsuits (bring it on)
Rest of the weekend I have drill, but my wife and possible staff will be there.
no, but with 1500 tables (or more) you can find anything legal up to a Transferable .50 BMG, antique swords, hunting supplies, rare ammo, books, ostrich jerky, or a politician.
Okay, we don't sell politicians. But there are party HQs not far away
I'm not aware of any vendors that come to the 1500. The tables are retailers and a few private individuals selling off stuff. Some of the knife making suppliers may be vendors as well, but you can buy from them direct at the show.
You have your own business then, ta4? Which vendor and for what are you looking for, ta4?
Edit: wait, by "vendor" do you mean the correct usage of the word, or the THR usage. Ahhh, THR and it's managling misuse of certain words.
Fergy, the August show is always "off" because the dealers think that people will not spend money because of "summer vacation" (whatever that is). Hah, I showed them and carried the responsibility of several other gun nuts!
It's self-fulfilling prophecy: the dealers bring no merchandise because they think people will not spend money. They then sit on their stools and whine that people are asking for things but not buying anything that they bring.
I've written about this after the last gun show with the knife dealer that absolutely nothing to sell and then whined that he was doing no business. I have absolutely no sympathy for the stool sitters (or lawn chair sitters) and their moronic business practices.
See you there. We'll do our part for gun trade mercatus.
