Very inexpensive mag carrier for single stack mags. Goes in your back pocket, is secure, safe, protects your mags well.
All it is is a soft glasses case available for less than a dollar on Amazon & elsewhere.
the front of it gets cut away to allow the top of the mags to be accessible. The cut edges are then sealed with 3M weatherstripping adhesive.
2 Single stack mags, 1911 or other, back to back.
Comfortable, easy to get your spare mag out of and affordable. IMG_1482.JPG IMG_1483.JPG

Easy to remove mags as compared to what? Not sure what others do, but my spare mag(s) are always carried on my left side situated in the mag carrier in such as way that my left hand can pull them out and then sweep them right into the handgun in my right hand with no fumbling of the mag. Nice and smooth operation. practiced over many years. That's how my single mag is carried during around town trips. However, if I am carrying two mags it is most likely I will be needing to reload as fast as possible cause I will most likely be up against a fast moving large four legged furry critter and might need all the rounds to drop it, before I become scat.

Trying to understand how a mag or two inside an eyeglass case, stuck in your rear pocket will be easy to remove without having to remove the entire case, then separating the case from the mag with your shooting hand holding the gun. Doesn't appear easy to me. Now if you are talking about the range; nice idea for transporting some mags (although I usually do that in my rage bag).

I applaud your ingenuity and frugality, and it does look comfortable and would probably conceal well in a pocket. However, I'm with RETG, I wouldn't want to have to get to one of those mags in a hurry. Access seems to be far more limited than just about any belt or even pocket mag holder commercially available.
