A Friend and I would like to go hog hunting this year maybe late Feb. Or March. Any suggestions would be great we are from Kansas. Any options considered. Also do some places cut the hog up for you, I have no idea how to process a hog.
When you find a place to hunt you need to ask the locals if the hogs are fit to eat. Where I hunt we just drag the carcass to a remote spot and leave it for the coyotes to eat. The coyotes learn to come to a rifle shot because dinner is on the table.

Where are hogs not fit to eat? Lots of hunting ranches will come get the hog when you kill it, and clean it for a charge. The next time you see it it is cleaned and ready to go home with you.
IMHO wild hog is FAR superior to the bland, store-bought factory meat. It is essentially a free-range, organic animal.
