Hog Hunt Southern Florida?

Well, this November I'm going down to Key Largo for a wedding, and for the bachelor party myself and a friend of mine are trying to go hog hunting for a day.

Does anyone know of any places in the southern Florida area where I can hunt hogs? I'm not opposed to driving 1 1/2-2 hrs, and anywhere that has hogs will work. I doubt there's any places on the island, but if there's anywhere not too far on the mainland it would be perfect. If not, I'll just have to settle for fishing. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I've never done a hunt at one of these pay to play places, but $150 for a hog sounds pretty good, considering I don't have any hogs to hunt here in the Empire State or when I go back home to Ohio.

I hunted a place called fisheating creek about 20 years ago. Big hogs.

You might try this place about 45 miles N. of Lake Okeechobee and at the southern end of Lake Kissimmee. Situated along route 60 in Polk County - about 50 miles inland from Vero Beach. Plenty of hogs there.

Look around Belle Glade, South Bay, Clewiston and Moore Haven. These are top-notch redneck Florida Cracker towns that are full of hicks and hogs. You are sure to have fun hunting around there. I have hunted a private club in Moore Haven lots and the whole area is about as real as south Florida gets. There is some great fishing in the keys, so don't overlook that.
