thats what i thought when i bought it . i dont have the smith in my hands right now. i told the guy at the gun shop i had never heard of a 18-3 in a s&w 357. its for sure a 4 inch s&w 357 i put it on layaway at the gun shop.my paperwork says model 18-3 357.i will go back and look at the revolver ,the true model number will be stamped on the cylinder hindge.thats why i wanted to here from you guys if there was such a thing.
Be extra careful when you first fire that thing. There are such things as stamping errors.
The brass says this shell is .357magnum, but I'm a little bit suspicious..
