I have a 300 Mag Weatherby made in West Germany that is 99.9 % with factory hard case and Factory Weatherby Scope.

Gun look new. The guy said it has ben fired 5- 6 times. He said his dad purchased it in Germany.

I would like to know the year made and what it is worth.
S/N 409XX

Model - Mark V

Beautiful gun.

Don't know when yours would have been made....

but my dad bought one back in '53-'54. It is still all original but he never bought a case for it. My brother has it now......did you try a google search of Weatherby to see if they have any information on their site.......chris3

Your dad did not buy a German made MKV in 53. Maybe after 59 he did.Hee certainly could have bought a .300 Weatherby on a Mauser action then. Or even a modified Springfield.
Your gun was made in middle 60's. In that condition it is worth $1200 or a little better depending on the scope situation.:)

You are correct.....

my dad's rifle is not a Mark V. I should have caught that but I had only one cup of coffee when I typed that.......My dad's rifle is on a Mauser action........chris3
