Inland M1 carbine

Looking at a MI carbine for sale .Inland on receiver and Sky on the barrel.Seems in Great refinished condition price of $700. Is this an imported rifle ?What should I look for ?Thanks

The Blue Sky imports were mostly brought back from Korea. A lot of them had less than excellent bores. I'd give the bore a good look over.

Around here import marked carbines top out at about $500.

I wouldn't pay that much for an Inland (most common maker) that was imported by Blue Sky (came back from Korea) and has been refinished (lowers collector value).

A gun like that is a shooter, and $700 is way to high for a shooter.

The prices on carbines, including imports, are going up. I agree $700 is a little high, but it might be worth haggling over.

I think if you can get him to $600, it would be worth considering.

In 5 yrs, you will think you got a bargain.
