Looking for "cheap" suggestions for an inside the pants holster that clips on belt but still wont let sweat or moisture get to gun.
I tried a popular waist wrap around conceal product but just not comfortable with it at all. It wasnt the products fault, I just didnt like that feeling.
I want to go cheap to start with on the inside pants holster to see if I like this method first. If I end up liking this carry method then I can invest in a better custom inside pants holster later. Also to make things more difficult, it would be nice to be able to retain a single speed clip with it if possible.
Any suggestions from the cheap seats ?
Again sweating can be an issue.
Thanks

I think it's Blackhawk that offers a soft and sweat resistant IWB for small frame revolvers with a polymer belt clip. I think they're $20 or so.

Glad to hear you mention this product because I seen it earlier and I definitely cant complain about the price.
You know anyone with any experience with them personally ?
Thanks

Look up "Remora Holsters"
I have one for an LC9s. With the sweat shield option I think it was about $30 or so and they sent a mag holder no charge.
Mine doesn't have a belt clip but it stays in place. I believe they have models with clips also.

Sounds good. I will go check them out right now.
Where do you wear yours ??? Front, just off center, side, back-side ? Just curious because Im not sure if I want to go without a clip.
I have slipped my small LCR down between my pants and underwear on my front-side just off center of body while wearing my normal pants belt with the handle sticking out so I can grab it and it feels good sitting there in that (natural pocket area) between my hip bone and center stomach. What I dont like is when I get hot I dont want my pistol and ammo getting wet.
Thanks

HA !!! LMBO !!!
I just figured out what the abbreviation of "IWB" stands for.
Next time I will do better...inside the waistband.

I wear most holsters in the 3 to 4 o'clock position (actually 8 to 9 since I shoot LH). I was skeptical about the holster staying in place without a belt clip but it does. They offer belt clips if that's what you want.
I normally carry something bigger but the LC9 and Remora work great when I need better concealment.

Please get a holster of some kind, especially if you like appendix carry. Unless you don't mind being called Caitlyn.;)

Yes. Me. ;) I've had them for a number of guns. The polymer clip makes some guns ride too high for my liking. On the one I have for my LCR, I took the clip off so I could use it in a pocket as well. And carry it opposite side. But then I found they're now making a clipless symmetrical version in tan with some super grippy fabric. That thing goes nowhere once it's IWB.

Sounds like great advice. If my front center stomach is 12 oclock then Im wanting to wear at 10 to 11 oclock. Im left handed because my right arm and hand was disabled and I dont have much of a choice. Thanks for the info and that Caitlyn comment was funny.

Good info to know. Thanks for all the great help.

As a side note, I grew up hunting and fishing but never worried about carrying a pistol until I got hurt not to mention that things are getting crazy out there.

My favorite cheap holster for my LCR is a galco stow-n-go. It's extremely low profile but still fairly comfortable.

I second the Remora suggestion. Also, Uncle Mikes makes an IWB "holster" similar to the Remora. Neither of them have clips but in my opinion that makes the more flexible. You can wear either of them anywhere IWB you like, as high/low as you need. I personally use the Uncle Mikes at 1 o'clock w/ a G42 most of the time, but also have Remora for occasional use.

Thanks for all the help.
Im currently using the Remora and like it but its also my first.
I do believe that I want my next holster to have material behind the handle.
I had no idea that there were so many manufacturers.
