Installing a sling mount?

I just recently purchased a henry lever action 22 and am contemplating putting a sling on it. To do this it looks like i would have to install swivel studs by drilling the stock. Is there any instructional vids or anything out there to help me not screw anything up?

I think Reid Coffield of Brownells wrote an article about this not too long ago in Shooting Times. I probably have a hard copy at home if you can't find it.
