We know we're all against any restrictions on type of firearms we can own, or restrictions on magazine capacity, or how/how much we purchase ammunition because we know they have nothing to do with violent crime rates, they don't have anything to do with LEO safety, and they infringe on our rights protected by the 2A.
Opposing is reactive, but supporting something is a positive course that in many ways easier and allows us to split the opposition.
What do we support?
Improvement to NICS so that it is more instant? Improvements to NICS so that it is more accurate? Better communication of information so cases like Cho actually get into NICS to block purchases?
Requirements for reporting of potentially dangerous individuals like Loughner and Holms instead of slaps on the wrist?
Studies of the effects of prescription medications treating young people for personality or psychological disorders or a wider range of pharmaceuticals like sleep and ADD/ADHD?
We don't have to just hunker down and man the battlements, we can also flank and maneuver.
