Investarm / Sile Inc. Shotguns?

Hi all,
New to the forum and also to shotguns. I am researching some shotguns that a family member wants to sell and they have 3 shotguns made by Investarm (Sile Inc - Ossian, IN).

I tried google'ing and found that Investarm is a gun manufacturer in Italy and Sile Inc was the importer of these guns.

Anyone have any info on these guns? Cost? Quality?

- Investarm 410 O/U Gauge 3"

- Investarm 12 O/U Gauge 3" Magnum

- Investarm 20 O/U Gauge 3" Magnum

Until I read what you posted I was ready to say that Interarms used to be a well-known distributor in Alexandria Virginia. They imported all sorts of firearms from around the world.

I would also have said that SILE used to be in NY and imported guns and also had guns made with their name on them. I googled the following up on a list of gun firms: "Sile Distributors Inc.. (CT) Sile Distributors Inc.. (IN) Sile Distributors Inc.. (NY)" and now I'm totally confused. I guess they moved.

Pics would be nice.

I think it's going to depend on whether they're the run of the mill guns or the higher end guns. John

My 2-year-old Blue Book only says..."Currently distributed by Kimber"
