interesting AR malfunction

Casual look... I guess some folks think the spring of common coil D for entire length.

Nope.

Larger coil diameter goes into trigger. Traps it.

Folks do it the other way (smaller coil down) and when taking apart later (or in initial assembly) it can become free.

Basic stuff..............yet we hear of and see lost springs and hammer follow issues..........year after year.
 
I'm sure the experts have this under control but are you sure it's going fully into battery?
 
Merry Christmas everyone. You too Justin. I agree that it is a fire group issue. Make sure the pins are in place and no foreign objects in the trigger well. Then get a diagram and check that all parts are in spec and in place and installed correctly. Pretty much what everyone said. I don't know anything about the disconnector
