Anyone read the latest edition of American Rifleman? There was an article on the '03 SPringfield, and an article titled "100 yrs. with the .30-06". In one of these articles(forgive me I forget which one) there was a paragraph discussing how our government was sued for patent infringement. Evidently the Springfield rifle was a little to close in design to the Mauser rifle. I think our government had to pay in the neighborhood of 200k to Mauser. Also, the manufacturer of the 7mm. spitzer bullets originally used in the Mauser rifles sued our government. My question is, in what court did these trials take place?
