Interesting outlook...Navy Yard shootings.

The Navy Yard shooting this past week was another senseless attack on innocent people going about their normal daily lives.

Most often the GUN is held up as the villain. This author has a different perspective; one that I find very cogent.

The liberal media is hung out to dry on this crime as none of the usual "suspects" are around to blame. He wasn't a Muslim terrorist. He wasn't a white supremacist or survivalist. He wasn't a "gun nut" under the guidance of the NRA. His weapon of choice was not one that is considered "evil".

He was a guy with an obvious mental problem that was literally screaming out for help and he didn't get the help he needed because the system ignored his cries.

Give the media time, they're working on it. From making common buckshot sound like something really nasty dreamed up by Q-Branch, to making a big deal about how quick and easy it is to take the barrel off an 870, "journalists" are sinking to new lows daily over this.

Not only funding is to blame, but IMO, govt (at any level) bureaucracy is one of the most intractable and serious problems in this country.

He fell thru the cracks. The VT and Aurora shooters were also well on their university's radars.
