Iron sights keep shooting loose

Ruger Mini 14. Nice tight 5 shot groups at 50 yrds and then 100 rounds later groups open up and the rear sight is loose. Blue lock tight applied after thorough cleaning, two more range trips of plinking with nice tight groups. 500 or so rounds later groups start to open up. And again, rear sight is loose. I've gone through this procedure 3 times now. What else can I do? Thanks for your time and consideration.

Everything on mine has red loctite, then go get you some 1911 recoil buffers to put in your action. One over the gas pipe, and the other around the end of the recoil spring. It will cut back on the metal on metal contact when the action is moving.

Red locktight? How will you remove it if and when the time comes? I've never tried to remove a fastener that has had red locktight applied. I've always been told that it is forever.

Using red Loctite usually will prevent screws from working loose. I use it on problem gun screws. If the need to remove the screw comes up, use mild heat as with a heat gun or a 25 watt solider iron. the Loctite will release, then clean the threads and screw hole before reassembling.
