I have one more newbie question for you guys :)

I want to load some wadcutters in .38 special. I have purchased some of these that were factory loaded, and the bullet was seated flush with the end of the case. I have a Lee 3 die set for .38 special. Will the seating die that came with that set be able to handle the wadcutter bullet to seat it fully in the case?

Most bullet seating stems have a lip that will allow you to seat the wadcutters flush with the case mouth. Just be sure to bell the brass enough to accept the bullet, since wadcutters are usually pretty soft. Just try a couple and see if it works.

Hope this helps.

My Dillon seating dies are setup such that you remover the seating insert, turn it over and reinsert it into the die housing to seat wad cutters. I'm not sure about the
Lee dies.
