Is Browning ashamed of the Hi-Power?

For all those in other "free states", consider yourself lucky.
The BHP is hard to find here in MA, since it has to be an in-state pre-10/98 pistol. We can't buy new ones, not on the Approved List.
When you find BHP's in local shops, these used ones, some well-shot, are typically $699, $799, $8xx. I've seen well-used Argentine clones around for $500 or so, but never Brownings. My '91 Silver Chrome is a great 9mm (power struggle between that & my 1911!).
