I was looking on the Cal Doj approved list and saw a Browning Practical in Stainless Steel on the approved list . Has anyone seen or handled one of these yet??? If so whats the Msrp??

Most certainly a Silver Chrome.

A stainless steel Hi-Power???? That would be cool, though it would be a little bit heavier than the Silver Chromed counterpart, would it not?

Kahr carrier: Guess you can't get that Chromed Hi-Power even if you wanted to, since it isn't on the list!

When are you going to move?

I've seen a dealer selling a "Stainless Steel Browning HP" at the local gun show in Austin from time to time.

It's actually silver chrome. And I won't do business with that dealer.

Though I do wish I could get a stainless BHP . . .

There were some stainless steel High Powers made by a company in Tn. back in the early '80's. I think that they only made about 50 of them. One of them show up at the Tulsa show every so often. In fact there was a guy at the last show who had a collection of 'rare' 9mm pistols and he had one on display.

Yes, the company was called Bafford Arms. I've never seen an actual specimen but I've seen a few pictures of them.

I'll beat someone to the punch:

IF JMB THOUGHT THE HI-POWER SHOULD BE STAINLESS, HE WOULD HAVE MADE IT IN STAINLESS :cuss: :banghead: :fire: :neener: :barf: :scrutiny: :uhoh:

I personally love stainless firearms and think the hi-power looks great in a nice chrome or whatnot and would love a stainless one.
