Hi, I tried emailing the Cascade Rifle & Pistol Club to ask about membership but they do not respond to my emails. I see a list of phone number for various board members of the club that I may try to contact. What I am wondering is if the club is still operating and if it is still open to new members? I hear it is a very large club that seems to have the same amenities and to be of the same size of the Tri-County Rifle club in the Portland area. I am very interested to join this club if can, as it seems to be the best club in Western Washington.

So, can anyone explain why they don't respond to emails or if there is any way to contact people about membership? Is the club still operational? Does the club have action pistol/rifle bays that can be used during normal hours? What are people's opinions about this club?

Hi, this is really off-topic for a rallying point topic and I don't think my question will be answered here. Isn't there a more appropriate place to post questions about rifle ranges than in a forum that appears (by the name) reserved for special events? This is not a question in anyway related to an event, but rather specifically of a shooting facility. Sorry, but I don't believe my question will have any visibility here. Can I perhaps request that The High Road creates a forum that is specific to questions about Shooting Ranges and Shooting Spots.

My understanding is they are not currently accepting new members until renewal period comes to fruition. They recently passed a cap at 1,000 members and current rosters put membership at around 1,200 but until everyone renews they can't gauge actual member count.

They still offer great classes and hunter ed. so you can sign up for those and also talk to a live body.

I am not a hunter and don't have money for classes anytime soon.. Too bad to hear they are not accepting new members.. Western Washington and Western Oregon both have serious lack of available shooting ranges. Thanks for the info...

Cascade Shooting Facilities has just set a 1000 member cap. They currently have over that many members, but renewals are due at end of April. Anyone not renewed on time has to re-apply.

So, I would keep on them about a waiting list (no process yet) and get on it. Be ready to join in June. They say about 300 members fail to renew.
