Gaston was a stanch supporter of the philosophy of keeping it simple, let the prime customers dictate the changes, and selling a million of them.
(Still don't understand how the outstanding G36 .45 ACP ever made it into production.)
That said, Herr Gaston is now departed.
And the future of GLOCK, sans Gaston, has yet to be written.
