Is golden bear any good

found some silver bear .223 ammo at ammunitiontogo.com 100rds for 26.00 is this stuff good I shoot wolf right know is it any better than it or not.

I believe the "Bears" are made by Barnaul. Barnaul has always been better than Wolf, at least in my experience. I've shot a lot of both, and the Barnaul was always the most consistent across lots, and also the more accurate, especially their soft points.

Wolf can be very inconsistent and I usually got one or two duds per case, and sometimes more. On the other hand, if you get a good lot, it can be accurate.

Golden Bear isnt brass cased, its brass plated steel. Also very scarce stuff and was only made by barnual for the bear brand for a very short time.

Your probibly either meaning to say Golden Tiger, or Silver Bear.

Both are better than wolf IMO in terms of FTFires and the like.

Most of the bears are made by Ulyanovsk, but sometimes Barnual. It depends on what that paticular importer has or does not have on hand upon packaging/branding time.

works fine for me, I use both, and they like wolf , use steel, but are just plated diff.

Gusy sorry for the mix up but it is SILVER BEAR not golden bear i started a new thread because i couldn't figure out how to edit my thread name so people would answer to the right question. It is "IS SILVER BEAR .223 AMMO ANY GOOD."
