Is most Greek 30-06 ammo from the CMP?

Despite not yet having a Garand, am curious how people would otherwise find this ammo. It is seen on "GB" etc.

If it probably is from the two CMP stores, does the CMP ask people not to resell it, as they do with their rifles?

I just looked real quick, and I couldn't find anything that says ammo is not to be resold. On the order form, it says something to the effect of "I am purchasing this rifle for personal use, and not for resale." It doesn't mention anything other than rifles. (I couldn't cut and paste, but it is on page 2, in the paragraph above your signature.)

I'm sure that some people do resell it for profit, but I have no way of proving that.

I don't know where else people get it, but I find it hard to believe that the CMP has exclusive distribution of HXP. I don't recall seeing it anywhere else for sale, but I bet some is legit and not from the CMP.

There were stories of dealers buying truck loads of Greek ammo for resale but now you may only buy 10 cans a year. Instead of buying on gunbroker check the CMP website as they now have 30-06 back in stock and expect to have it for several years.

Orion 7, Dupage Trading , Pats Reloading are a few places that comes to mind that has sold HXP M2ball
