Is Parkerized as Rust Proof as Stainless?

I have seen 304 stainless rust if left in the mud and water. 300 series stainless steels have a percentage of nickel as well.
As said above, chlorine will corrode stainless very quickly.

Stainless steel works because the chrome in the steel forms a hard chrome-oxide layer on the surface which is very corrosion resistant. Some chemicals like chlorine can still attack it.

I've never owned a Parkerized gun, but rust is a very big concern to me.

Tell us the main reason you're concerned about rust? Is it because you want to use it as a carry gun or because you live in a saltwater environment. Maybe you're narcoleptic and are always falling down in puddles and things.....ok, J/K but if you tell us then we can give you better suggestions on controlling the rust.

For a carry gun I wipe it down daily on the outside with silicon gun cloth and give it a light coat of oil on the internals weekly; along with giving it a full clean and oil after it's been shot at all. Also holsters with a body guard on the inside of the gun to keep it from touching your skin will help. And don't leave your gun stored in a holster for extended periods, esp. leather.
