ok you talked me out of a olympic arms but i found a rock river rifle that i like and the price is right is this a good company or not

A couple years ago, i found a deal on a fully assembled RR lower and mated it to a Colt upper with Vietnam era tri-guard foregrip, and it's a fantastic rifle. Most of what i've ever read or heard about RR has been good, and i concur.

I found a RRA complete lower at a fantastic deal, then it took me a while to figure out what configuration I wanted -- 20", 16" -- fixed stock, collapsible...well, I found a deal on a complete RRA mid lenght upper w/ EOTech 512. Complete RRA mid-length NIB, no wait, great price & a fantastic performer! RRA is a fantastic company ;)

For as little as $100 more than an RRA you can usually find a comparable setup from other manufacturers with superior parts and build quality. The M4Carbine.net links above tell part of the story. I researched the hell out of this topic before purchasing my LMT (Lewis Machine & Tool) Defender. YMMV.
