My first AR

So I just got back from a gun show with a brand new Rock River Arms mid-length A2 complete rifle. The dealer claimed he needed to sell off his stock of non Armalite AR's because he just became an Armalite distributor. I walked away with it for $750. Did I get an Ok deal? This is my first AR and I've heard good things about Rock River Arms, and the rifle was only about $150 more than an Olympic Arms Plinker.

Sounds Like a good deal. I can't get one in CA. I'd buy one and let my friend keep it out of state but I'd probably never see it again.

I got my RRA middy a few months ago for $850...so yeah, you got a deal! But that money didn't count the FF quad rail I added or the EOTECH sight That got me way over $1k

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll post a range report after I go out once I get a chance to shoot it. It may be a few weeks. It's good to know the dealer wasn't just BSing me. He claimed it was $10 dollars more than he paid for it.
