Is Steyr Back?

I'm seeing a few Steyr pistols on various auction sites listed as "new" and happen to be in the market for another 9mm.

I have an M40 and love the thing. I would love another Steyr and see the M9-A1 is a 17+1, a respectable capacity. It's just as ugly as my M40, perhaps more so. I like it!

Did Steyr get their act together and secure a distributor in the states?

Yes. They are easy to find normally now. Current panic has reduced availability.

Good news and an informative video. The M40-A1 is built more like a G20 than a G23 and is more accurate at distance than either Glock model, plus it doesn't have the Glock muzzle flip.

The Steyr is what the Glock should have evolved to IMO. With a 4.5" L model, perhaps they are anticipating entering the lucrative LE market.
