... closer in size to the Colt Mustang or to the Colt Pony?

I'm looking to buy a pocket holster for my P9 but it isn't listed. The closest thing that I see is the Mustang & the Pony and I'm wondering which holster would be a better fit for my P9.

I would think neither and would say it's pretty close to a Kahr MK in size. I would try a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster. They don't list one specifically for the Pocket Nine. However, they look like they're fairly generic so a Kahr model would probably work. For $16.99 it might be worth a shot.

Pocket hoster for Colt Pocketnine

Great gun! For me,I got an AKER sharkskin that was done for Scott/ McDougle off ebay. Mr Scott occasionally had these and mags for sale there. Replace the factory grips with some thin custom ones and you'll be good to go.

I used to own one. If you check into holsters for the Kahr P9 you will find a good match.

Pocket Nine

I just bought a holster for my Pocket Nine from High Noon (highnoonhoslsters.com). It was made for the Pocket Nine and it fits great and is very well made. The model I bought was the Hideaway and it cost $44.95 + shipping.

Posters are absolutely correct - don't expect the P-9 to fit either the Mustang,Pony,or Gov't. fitted holsters. I tried. The only one of my holsters that will fit both is the softside Uncle Mikes IWB. Andrews Custom Leather in Florida also makes holsters custom fit to the P-9 but you are looking at a 2-3 month wait-great quality but long wait.
