is the Kahr that much smaller?

comparing a K9 to a P99 (or G19 for that matter - about the same size)

when wearing a polo shirt - tucked in, and with a good tuckable IWB holster

will i really notice that much difference?

specs -

seems the Kahr will be almost 1'' shorter in the grip, 1'' shorter in the barrel, and 0.25'' narrower than my P99

anyone own/carry both? seems the 1'' in the grip would make a helluva difference.

and FWIW, the smaller Kahr's are not an option - this is info for a trade i may be making (not getting rid of my P99 though - different trade )

Compared to a G19 or a P99 the Kahr P9 is going to disapear.

The Kahrs are thin. Glocks (even the smaller ones) are pretty darn bulky. That 1" shorter grip will make a WORLD of difference in how badly the gun prints (for example I have a Steyr M40 and an S40 and the S40 grip is only about 3/4" shorter but that 3/4" is the difference between printing and not printing).

The shorter barrel won't effect concealment but will make the weapon faster to draw.

Though it may be somewhat difficult to spot from this photo, there are significant dimensional differences between the two.
I carried the G19 before I bought my K9 and can tell you that I find the K9 far easier to conceal comfortably.

I own a G23 and used to own a P9 Covert (full size slide/barrel with the PM9 sized frame and grip). There is an absolute world of difference between them. The Kahr feels and looks much, much thinner.

See Olegs pics comparing the G26 to the P9. I never took pictures of my Kahr with the Glock, but here's comparing the P9 to a KelTec P32. Considering the P32 is at the limit of how small a defensive arm can be, and that the Kahr is a full power 9mm... they compare quite favorably.

I've got the P9 and I also have a Beretta 3032 Tomcat and in my opinion the P9 is easier to carry do to its slimmer grip..
Also the grip of the P9 is slimmer than the K9......drf

I've got a K9 and, to me, the K9 wins hands down over just about anything non-Kahr that I can think of. My wife has the P9 its even more so. There's no comparison.

The 239 is a bit thicker, and weighs more.
