Is the T/C Venture a true short action?

Trying to figure out scope mounting options for my daughter's new Venture in 7mm-08. Is it a true short action, or (like a Tikka) not really?

Scope is a Leupold VX-III 2.5-8X36 (worth more than the gun cost us). Kind of a short bodied little guy. I want to order some Talley one-piece rings but want to make sure we will have enough wiggle room with that set up.

Got the brass, dies, and 120g Sierras ready to go! Will be making some youth loads soon.

Easiest way to find out is to look on the website and check out the specs on the various calibers that the rifles are chambered in.

The short actions should be an inch or so less in overall length in comparison to the long action calibers with the same length barrel.

Looking at some 1 piece bases from DNZ they show both long and short action bases. I'm 99% sure they offer that rifle in both long and short action, but it has been a while since handling one. Their specs listed on the website do not make sense.
