I received my order of magic bullets today. Guaranteed one shot stops even without aiming! (just kidding of course)
Anyway, I got a couple of boxes of Winchester Ranger Bonded in 124gr 9mm+P JHP. They are very similar in profile to the Winchester Silvertips, however the Hollow Point is VERY shallow. See a Pic of the Rangers HERE, (btw - the cartridge on the far right is for reference, its a Winchester Silvertip). The Ranger Bonded rounds almost look like a FMJ with the tip sheered off, exposing the lead. Its unlike any round I've ever seen.
So what' up? Can anyone explain this design to me?
Thanks!!!
ps - oddly enough, I found one Ranger T (black talon-ish) round amongst the 100 rounds I purchased, go figure???
