Does anyone have experience with Winchester's 124gr +P 9mm from shorter barrels, such as 3.5" or less (IE Kahr K9)?

I scoured the internet and found very little information concerning these loads. I made a small order (3 boxes of 50 rounds) to test for myself and plan to post the data here. I will probably use playdough as I used to, though might go with wetpack as well.

My primary concern is expansion.
I currently use 124gr (standard pressure, non-bonded) Remington Golden Sabers but I'm nearly out. The 50 round boxes of 124gr +P Sabers are "bonded" and, from what I've read on the internetwebz, exhibits difficulty fully expanding from a short barrel.

If anyone has any data involving the rather obscure RA9124TP 124gr +P Ranger (that's obviously living in the shadows of its 127gr and 147gr brothers), I would greatly appreciate it.

Either way, I'll post expansion tests here in within a couple weeks.

LOL, it doesn't surprise me that no one has experience with this round; as of right now it's perhaps the most obscure round Winchester loads for the Ranger line.

Wish I could help but I stick with Gold Dot. I use standard pressure 124gr in 4"+ barrels and 115gr in -4" barrels. The +p just has never seemed worth it too me.
