nothing against you 1911 guys, my preference is just toward Glocks, M&P's, etc.

Is there something like this chambered in .38 super?
the EAA Witness is the closest thing I have found so far.

There's "bound" to be one somewhere, but it'll have to be made out of recycled milk jugs; 'cuz our current gov't frowns on the use of "fresh" petroleum materials.

EAA Witness pistols are essentially CZ75 clones that have gone on to take a slightly different path.

One of their features is interchangeable calibers. Sometimes it is as easy as switching out barrels, other times you have to get a slide/barrel/mag kit. But they are all pretty reasonable all things considered.

They offer poly versions of their standard steel pistols, and I think the poly versions will still take the conversion kits. I think .38 Super was one of their kits, but I could be mistaken.

Good luck!

Similar to the 1911, the "2011" STI composite frame pistols are available in 38 super. Their are several brands and custom shops that make models on the STI frames in almost any caliber you want.

.357 SIG ? You're a G man....
nothing wrong with a .357 SIG, but the 38 Super has greater mag capacity and is dang close in power.

besides, if I decide I want a necked down cartrage Id go 9X25 Dillon

220 are most definitely not a polymer framed gun.

I wonder if anyone has converted a Glock 20 to .38 Super? You'd need to find a way to make some new magazines if you wanted to really make it work, but it would be sweet.
