Is there a such thing as a digital spotting scope?

I mean yes bringing your own targets is fine. I just don’t quite know about bringing your own target stand/frame. At the very least I have never done it before.
 
Without knowing what the range(s) you frequent have and allow, it’s hard to make any suggestions.

This wouldn’t be too bad if you have a truck or car with a large enough trunk.

If I were wanting something that takes up less space, I would probably use the tubing thread inserts I use for the legs on my annealing machines though and use wing bolts so I don’t have to remember a 7/16 nut driver.

With the cross bars being removable, it will take up less space than the rifle your going to be using with it.

I’ll have to ask the owners next time I am up there. They are nice guys I doubt they would have a huge issue with it, but it would probably also depend on how busy it is. I can see it might be an issue on a really busy day when all the lanes are full. Either way all I can do is ask.

Yeah tactacam makes a similarly product as well as a few others. It’s just ya know always 1 more piece of equipment, always 1 more piece. That’s sorta why I was hoping for a all in 1 solution so I could just replace my current spotting scope and not have to bring 1 more piece…. Or ya know if I did have to bring 1 more piece at least I would have looked at all the options everyone suggested :)
 
Yeah I am probably going to end up with a Spotter LR from tactacam which is what I was thinking I would have to do even before I asked but I am genuinely enjoying seeing everyone’s suggestions and learning about some new products along the way so feel free to keep the thread going if you have any more fun gizmos in the general category to show me :)
 
Give us a review after you get a chance to use it.

If you just want video of the view through your spotting scope, I have made mounts that slip over the OD of the lens, that I can drop my cell phone into.
