Is there aftermarket guide rod for Springfield XD

I like the gun looks especially the XD 45 compact 4 inch. But if you see the rack the slide back the guide rod has this flat thing on the end which is ugly looking. I wish they have it designed like the glock one piece captive recoil spring.

and you can't see it from the back end where you belong.
this is the most frivolous cosmetic issue I've seen brought up in a long time ... I'm impressed!

I have an XD45C and it's a great gun. I replaced the stock recoil assembly with a Lasermax guide rod laser. I assure you, with the laser pulsing nobody it's pointed at is likely to even see the weapon.
 
you do know that flat ugly thing is referenced in the manual..

it's so you can press the pistol directly against *something* without the slide going out of battery..
