Is there a quality fixed 4x (Burris, Leupold, etc) with modern crosshairs and AR carry handle mount under $500?

I have a Colt 6920. I don't want to lose my irons, and since I have a fixed front sight I'd have to off set mount a scope on my flat top anyway to range a distant target.

I'm looking at that Burris AR 536 again with interest.

Mounting a scope on the flat top is much easier even with the front sight. I use a variable and the front sight is so out of focus that at any power over 3-4X I can't see it anyway.

As to your original question, there are many companies making mounts that will allow you to mount any scope you want on the carry handle. I've used them in the past and don't care for optics that high, but they make them.

You don't have to offset. I have my scope mounted low on a flattop and the front sight tower is so close it doesn't matter. You never see it, even at 2x.

I was mainly just showing a picture. They come up on Ebay and other gun boards every now and then. Google "Hakko Blue Ring".

Hakko became Japanese Optics Company, or something like that. They don't have that model still but do have a 1-4x AR scope, I think.

Yeah, you can't really see any of the fixed front sight above 2x anyway. Most people mount the scope on the flattop and just live with the mild ghost of a front sight below 2x.
