I am looking at a Mosin 91/30 with a very nice stock arsenal refinished with a sling,Bayonet, oiler, cleaning rod and a pouch for $138.99 is this a good price or not.

The barrel looks to be clean and I inspected the bore and the barrel and it seems to be in good shape throughout. Ammo on the other hand all they had was privi in 150 gr sp for sale at $15.99 per box is this in the right neighborhood on price?

Thank you in advance for any help.

I use http://www.aimsurplus.com/ to find around what things go for online. In person prices go up and if you don't want to mess with a transfer and like the rifle in hand it isn't ungodly. I paid $99 in person for mine which is about as good as I can find without going to a gunshow. Ammo depends. $15.99 sounds like a lot to me but I mainly buy surplus ammo for these surplus rifles. New commercial ammo is a bit more but that still seems like a lot.

Dont know what they're going for anymore, but I bought my 91/30 two years ago for $70, and that was from a retailer...

The ammo is about right where I'd expect. A bit high for Privi, but I've only seen Privi on online sources. Locally, I can find Wolf Gold for about that price.

the ammo is a good price. wolf performance can hit a dollar a round in michigan stores.

as per price of rifle..

to determine the "correct" price of a rifle you need to determine
-factory that made it
-reciever style
year of manufacture.

as a general rule follow these prices.

ammo pouch - 8-15 dollars
sling , compete- up to 20 depending upon markings
sling collars- typ 8 a pair
oiler-5-8 dollars typ.
bayonet- 39-50
cleaning rod- varies by model

almost in the expensive category, but when you consider the rifles history and what the catridge can do for you, its smart to grab it. and all the ammo you have cash for. really.
youll kick yourself if you dont.
