Last time I paid that much for 1000 was late 2007 (actually it may have been $330 + shipping). I usually get Prvi PArtizan M193 and now it's up to around 4 C notes and some change if you can find it.

Just last month tj was walking at cableas and seen federal 1k m193 fmj's 55gr. for 395.00 bought 2k and I didn't bink an eye so if it reloadable and of good mfg...not a bad price..
