Is this worthy of sending back to Glock?

How do you know the other side of the barrel, that is not photographed, is not the same? There seems to be a great deal of pure speculation going here absent of many facts. So just why can't a gunsmith work on Tenifer coated steel?" Ar you trying to tell me it can't be milled for different type sights or engraved?

I'm not saying that a gunsmith can't work on it, it's probably better that
Glock replaces it (assuming it is defective). Tenifer is there for durability and corrosion protection. Why mess with it?

Regarding milling for different sights, there are so many after-market sights available for Glocks that I doubt there is a need for custom milling.

Regarding engraving Glocks: I question the mental stability of anyone who would engrave a Glock ;)

All the more reason to return the barrel to Glock for a free replacement.

Which is what everyone has stated because the poor crown on the barrel will effect accuracy. You have attempted to derail the thread by claiming incorrectly that the barrel is not defective and accuracy will not be effected. It has been demonstrated to you using links, plain language and joking jabs that this is the case but you continue to argue this point.
