Sounds like you had this Charter Undercover.

My local gun shop has one used for $199. They also carry the Hi-Point C9 new for around $125.00 and used for around $75.00. Sounds to me like you got taken a little bit, but as long as your happy with the trade... Thats all that matters.

Hi-Point does make good low cost firearm that functions well after the initial break in period. They also have a lifetime warranty and excellent customer service. I own a Hi-Point and really like it, and would buy another one.

Yes that one was it, well I was set out on a c9 actually and one place had them for $189 used. The place I found had them for $175 used, not much different. I liked the grip a lot and he gave me a extra mag and I feel happy with it. And yes I am aware of the break in period, that is probably why most people dont like them, it's cheap and when new it will jam every now and then.

Well, the good thing is that now you don't have to carry a pocket knife. Just rub the a suitable edge of the Hi-Point on whatever you need sliced and it'll do it for ya.

Good luck with it.

As long as you're happy with the trade it was a good thing. There is something to be said for the cheap beaters, you don't have to baby them for fear of scratches or dings and you can shoot the hell out of them...

Well let's see that big 'ol sexy thing. :D

Hogue Handall medium size. Helps her get a grip on it. The stock grips have no texture and it slips in her hand.

Hey at least I finally figured out (with help) how to get pictures to come up. Better than the forum method for me.

i have the c9 with the pachmyr slip on and i love it, fits great in your hand. heck if you where up where i am would have traded ya and tossed in the rest of the 9mm ammo i have which is about 300rnds.

i just bought a sigma .40 and getting addicted to the larger calibers and revolvers for carry now.
